With over 10 years’ experience, we understand our clients’ culinary requirements. That’s why we take great pride in the fact that we were the UK’s first tour operator to introduce a uniquely designed state-of-the-art kitchen caravan system. We’ve been operating tours with these caravans since 2000 and it has proved a huge success.
The caravan enables us to offer fresh, high quality, classical delicacies, made from local produce purchased daily at each city stop.
Our usual breakfast consists of cereals, juices, bread or croissants, cheese, fruits, yoghurt and eggs as well as tea or coffee. Also breakfast may differ from hotel to hotel.
Our vegetarian lunches are usually served in a picnic style buffet atmosphere, and you can expect a daily varied menu. On a typical day, you can enjoy from numerous dishes such as vegetable curries, rotis, naan, puris, daal, raita and salads. Whenever possible, our chefs make incredible efforts to prepare many other regional dishes – from pauv bhaji to pasta & Idli Sambhar to satisfy all our clients’ needs.
Evening dinners are served within your hotel or in a selected dinning hall, you will also have a further choice of a non-vegetarian dish to accompany the various other dishes that will be provided (usually a chicken or fish curry). No beef or pork is used.
On some tours, where the caravan is not provided, you will enjoy delicious Indian meals at carefully selected Indian restaurants.
We also cater for strict Jains. Please advise our reservation staff at the time of booking as our chefs require advance notice.
Whatever your culinary preference, we’re confident that you won’t be disappointed by the superb Indian cuisine specially prepared for you by our experienced Maharajs (chefs) from India.
