Skanda Vale Temple Tour
Skanda Vale is multi faith ashram home to a resident community of 25 monks and nuns. Every year 90,000 pilgrims flock to the three temples. Arrive at the temple at 4:30am in time for the first Pooja which begins at 5:00am at Lord Murugan Temple. Later walk 20 minutes to arrive at Maha Shakti Temple (visitors that are physically less-able can take the free minibus service offered).Enjoy the second Pooja at the Maha Shakti temple at 6:30am. After enjoy a complimentary breakfast provided by the Swamis. Finally enjoy the Third Pooja at 9.30am before making your way back to London.

Today late evening depart for Skanda Vale temple from your chosen pickup point. The journey will commence at approx 10:30pm towards Wales. Please do note that the journey will be a overnight journey, reaching the temple at 04:30am. Arrive at the temple for approx 4:30am just in time for the first "Pooja" which begins at 05:00am. Later enjoy a small breakfast at the temple itself provided by the Swamis, before we head back to London.

Passengers should arrive at their pick up point no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Your pick up point, address and time will be stated on your invoice. Passengers arriving late will need to make the necessary arrangements to meet the coach at the next suitable location.
Star Tours operate a luggage handling service under which the driver will load and unload one piece of luggage per person from the coach (weighing up to a maximum of 20kg, and not exceeding dimensions of 90 x 75 x 43cm / 35.5 x 29.5 x 16ins). Passengers will have to carry their luggage to and from the coach to the hotel room.
In addition, you can also carry one piece of small hand luggage (weighing up to a maximum of 7kg, and not exceeding dimensions of 20 x 20 x 48 cm / 8 x 8 x 19 inches), which can fit under their seat or in the overhead compartment.
If you check in extra baggage, or baggage beyond the limits outlined here an additional fee of £5 per bag per day will apply (subject to availability). Any baggage deemed to large will need to be placed in the locker. All baggage is kept on the coach at owners risk.
Car seats are not provided on coaches but passengers should carry car seats with travelling infants for comfort and safety.
Coaches and Hotel rooms may not have an option to heat up baby milk it is therefore the passengers responsibility to make sure of necessary arrangements for any children and infants in their group. Milk and baby food cannot be provided by the hotel or restaurants and passengers are advised to carry ready to drink milk whilst on tour. Dry food is allowed on the so please feel free to bring snacks for children.
Pushchairs can be kept in the baggage lockers of the coach, although size restrictions may apply.
We will accept light weight manual wheelchairs for travel, subject to them being capable of being stowed in the luggage hold of the coach. It is also essential that a family member is also on the tour to push their wheelchair. Star Tours will also request hotels for suitably equipped rooms; however, this is only on a request basis and cannot be guaranteed.
Professional drivers and reps accompany our tours throughout the itinerary. Please note that this is not a guided tour, and only includes transfers.
All coaches are fitted with arm rests, TV, DVD/CD and toilet facilities (on occassions). Toilet facilities on coaches have limited capacities, and are only capable of handling liquid waste and therefore we advise passengers to use them only on an emergency basis, as the tank can only be emptied at regulated areas due to the nature of the waste.
All coaches are either air conditioned or air cooling systems, lowering to a maximum of 8-9ºC from the outside temperature. Only food which is dry and cold can be taken onto the coach. Curries, chips and other hot food are not allowed to be consumed on the coach. In addition, chewing gum and ice , burgers, ice cream and other greasy foods are not permitted on the coach.
Seat belts must be worn at all times whilst on the coach.
Please remember our staff cannot take requests for any seats. Seat numbers will be given to you, on day one of your tour. Passengers with children in their group will not be seated near the front due to EU regulations & company policy. No requests for seats are taken. Medical grounds for a seat are not taken into consideration as all seats offer the same comfort level.
Distances & Journeys
An important point to note whilst on a touring holiday is that some long journeys are unavoidable especially when travelling from city to city. Star Tours recommend passengers wear comfortable clothing. It is advisable passengers carry necessities that they may need for the day such as water, dry snacks, cameras etc. with them in their hand luggage.
Also on the first and last day passengers must carry their passports in their hand luggage as passports will be needed in immigration.
Star Tours strongly recommends you purchase travel insurance. Passengers are advised not to carry unnecessary valuables and to be vigilant at all times at tourist spots, as well as hotels and coach. Travel insurance is recommended for all individuals travelling.
