If you want Star Tours to process your visa on behalf of you, it will depend on the current nationality of your passport and the status of your UK visa. We can provide a stand alone visa service even if you are not booking a holiday with us. There are two ways in which you can send us your passport(s) and documents; you can either provide it to us in person by visiting us, or sending it by post. If you are sending by post we highly recommend using Royal Mails Special Delivery which guarantee’s next day delivery or any other courier service such as DHL / UPS / Parcel Force.

There is a requirement to hold valid travel insurance, which is a mandatory document. The travel insurance should cover travel to the European area; your travel insurance must have a minimum cover of €30,000 in order to cover any expenses that may arise in connection with your repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention or emergency hospital treatment. The travel insurance should fully cover the period of your stay in the European area.

Once your visas are processed Star Tours will inform you via our visa department over the telephone, we will then confirm with you how you would like to receive your passport back.

Passengers intending to obtain a long term visa should submit an annual insurance policy if their UK visas are valid for more then one year from the date on which they return to the UK. This may in some occasions’ help the visa duration.

If you have a valid Schengen visa and you have already visited the country of issuing authority, then there should be no problem in visiting any Schengen country for leisure within its validity, However it is advisable to check with the relevant consulate before travelling.

If the Visa is rejected then the Consulate may request for you to provide additional documents, according to your personal situation, even after you have submitted your application at embassy. Please note that any additional documentation, which is not required in the basic list according to your type of visa, must also be accompanied with a certified translation into English if it is in any other language.

If you are processing your visa through Star Tours in UK and for any reason they are rejected and we know the outcome 10 days prior to departure, then we will charge 25% of the tour cost for coach tours and 40% for all flight tours. If the visa is rejected within 10 days of tour departure then the cancellation will be 35% of the tour cost for coach tours and 50% for all flight tours (This only applies if the booking is made in UK and visa has been applied through Star Tours). The visa fee and service charge is non-refundable in all circumstances.
