General Information Regarding Pick Ups – Drop Offs provided by Star Tours Ltd.
Star Tours is pleased to offer passengers an extensive range of pick up and drop off locations. We cover all major cites in England for the convenience of our customers. Never has it been easier to begin your holiday. Our pick up and drop off service enable our customers to travel without hassle and can be rest assured that everything is taken care of.
For the benefit of our customers choosing to take our pick up and drop off service, we have listed below points which should be noted prior to your journey.
The pick up points outside of London are subject to availability.
* Pick-up will be Southbound Services and drop-off will be at Northbound Services.
** If you are travelling on Treasures of Europe Tour then this is the only pick-up available in Brussels. For other tours if you are selecting this as a pick-up then city tour of Brussels will not be covered.
NOTES:
Pick-up charges are per adult and per child. An infant will be charged 50% of the pick-up charges. You are required to bring your own car seats for infants.
Southall, Wembley, East London and Folkstone and Dover are guaranteed pick-ups. All other pick ups will be charged according to the above table. Please specify the most convenient pick-up point on your Booking form at the time of booking. However, if for any reason, your initially booked pickup point becomes unavailable, we will inform you prior to departure.
Dover pick- up will be provided only if the ferry departs from the port of Dover and therefore Dover pick up is not guaranteed at all times. Although we endeavour to provide this pick up we are able to confirm Channel crossing 14 days prior to departure. If Channel crossing is not available then we will not be using Dover for our outbound travel. If you require Dover as your pick up then we will be able to confirm if it is available for your tour 14 days prior to departure. You can initially select Dover although if its unavailable then you will need to change (Star Tours will not be responsible for any costs associated with you changing your pick up).
You should plan to be at your joining point no later than 15 minutes prior to the departure times stated above as coaches will not be delayed for passengers arriving late.
Due to logistical reasons, we will not be able to provide lunch on the first day to passengers joining a tour in mainland Europe.
Return journeys from the continent are scheduled to arrive at Dover between 19.00hrs and 20.00hrs approximately. We will then proceed to original pick-up points in London (arrival time between 21:00 hrs and 23:00 hrs)
If Wembley is your chosen pick-up point and you require transportation to and from then we recommend you book with Angels Minicab Service; they offer a friendly, reasonably priced personal service and are located 5 minutes drive from our Wembley office. We recommend that you book in advance to avoid any delays.

Waiting Time
We attempt to ensure that the times listed as expected times of arrivals are adhered too.However, due to circumstances beyond our control, there may be changes to pick up timings listed in our brochure.If there are any changes to your pick up, we will inform you 12 hours prior to your scheduled pick up time. The pick up and drop off service is organised across the entire breadth of our Star Tours customers, and not just on a coach to coach basis. Due to congestion at points of entry and traffic conditions beyond our control, there may be delays in the times of departure for your respected pick up and drop off. We advise our customers to bear with our representatives as they will be organising the details of your drop offs. However if there are delays, our representatives will communicate the details to the party’s concerned. For exact times of expected departure, please look to our representatives for more information.On occasions where delays occur, you can expect waiting times up to 90 minutes.If passengers are taking connecting transportation to other destinations, please take into consideration unexpected delays when booking onwards Flight/ Train/Coach connections.
Food and Service Stops
During scheduled pick up’s and drop off’s, passengers are advised to carry water and food for their journey. Please note that en-route; the driver will not be able to stop for breaks.In the mornings, when you reach the point where you will join the group, the tour will begin straight away. There may not be a chance for those who have travelled long distances to freshen or have breakfast until the next available stop. As such, it is advised that passengers are prepared with comfortable clothing and a supply of water and food for the beginning portion of their journey.
Type of Vehicle
Your pick up and drop off service will usually be conducted in either a nine seater mini bus or regular coach. On instances where a party is less than five, an estate car may also be used. This will be dependant on the number of passengers travelling to respected destinations.
Sequence of Pick – Ups and Drop – Offs
The pick up and drop off service is conducted to suit all of our customers throughout the UK. As our extensive range of locations span the length and breadth of England, the order of the service must be carefully planned. During your pick up and drop off, you may find that you will be travelling with other passengers who may be travelling to different destinations.The sequence of pick up and drop off will follow a systematic route through the various destinations. The pick up and drop off service will be grouped together as per the geographical locations of the respected locations. Star Tours will attempt to make each of the transfers as direct as possible, however please note that routes may be diverged. If your invoice does not state a pick up time or states TBC, then please check with your sales rep prior to travelling. If your pick up time is stated then please arrive at your pick up point at the time specified on your invoice.
Pick-Up/Drop-Off Point Amendments
You can change your pick-up point up to 10 days prior to departure free of charge. Within 10 days it may not be possible to make changes to your pickup point. If possible then there will be a £10 admin charge per adult and child.
Your choice of pick-up point will be by default your drop-off point. If there is any discrepancy between the two, please inform our reservation staff of the same. Any changes to either pick-up or drop-off point within 10 days prior to your departure will be subject to an admin fee if it is possible for Star Tours to organise such a change.
