Day 5/8 LUXOR - NILE CRUISE
Early morning to avoid the noontide heat of the West Bank, we visit the Valley of the Kings with its numerous tombs and chambers. Only fifteen tombs out of 63 are open for public, among them are those granted to Tutankhamen, Ramesses I and Seti II. You will pass by the village of ancient workers at Deir El Madina, the Temple of Madinet Habou dedicated to Ramesses III and massive twin statues depicting the Pharaoh Amenhotep III was widely known as the Colossi of Memnon. Proceed to the Valley of the Queens to explore the collonaded Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, where you can learn the tale of the divine birth of the first female king.
