Best Time to Visit Spain

April and May are excellent for Andalusia and central Spain. Seville in April, during the Feria de Abril, is one of the great European festival experiences.

June to August is high summer. The south gets very hot, but the northern coast - San Sebastián, Galicia - stays relatively cool.

September and October suit most of the country. Harvest season in La Rioja, warm Mediterranean coast, and the major cities are far more comfortable than in August.

November to March is Spain's low season - lower prices, shorter queues. Barcelona and Madrid are particularly good off-season.
